What you'll do

  • As a B2B sales representative, you will reach out to decision makers and encourage the acceptance of commercial credit cards;
  • Contact multiple merchants daily to educate them on the benefits of taking card and the process of changing their payment method;
  • Understand the product and the payment method to influence suppliers to overcome any preconceived beliefs they have on accepting credit card;
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and live chat from high-level B2B contacts;
  • Pre-call research to identify the correct contact on sites like Google and LinkedIn, to ensure high contact rates;
  • Identify, escalating priority issues, and report to high-level management as needed;
  • Follow up on complicated client interactions;
  • Record details of client interactions (proficiently and accurately);
  • Develop rapport with clients, with an upbeat and positive attitude.

What you'll need

  • Active listener who can understand customers queries, respond with empathy, and overcome objections;
  • Ability to engage and tailor interactions with each client, making their experience exceptional;
  • Excellent customer service attitude for a B2B sales representative;
  • Friendly, confident, and a self-starter;
  • Strong verbal and written communication;
  • Positive and quick troubleshooter;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related major or equivalent relevant work experience (preferred);
  • 2 to 3 years of customer service-related experience (required);
  • 1 to 2 years of financial or inside sales experience (preferred);
  • 3+ year of call center experience (preferred);
  • Basic knowledge of computers e.g. navigation, 30+ words per minute, copy/paste, open tabs (required);
  • Excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling (required).
