Teleperformance Portugal was once again certified by the Great Place to Work™ institute as one of the best companies to work for.
TP Portugal was certified by the Great Place to Work™ institute as one of the best companies to work for in Portugal with a seal that distinguishes companies with the best working environment and organisational culture, especially those that stand out for their performance in areas such as attracting young talent, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, health and well-being of their employees.
In order to receive this classification, several factors are evaluated, such as objective working conditions and quality of the facilities, employee personal development and career progression, inclusion, diversity, recognition of the employees’ contribution and intervention at the corporate social responsibility level.
Teleperformance Portugal has been a “regular presence” at this ceremony and has once again been recognised with the Institute’s award.
As a group, Teleperformance has achieved a record number of subsidiaries certified by Great Place to Work, in a total of 65 eligible countries.
In March 2021, Great Place to Work™ also recognised Teleperformance Portugal as the 13th best company to work for in Portugal, and as the 1st in the ranking of companies with more than 1,000 employees.
This certification shows that we have managed to deliver the best to all those who are part of the TP family and recognises the importance of our culture centred on employee well-being through work-life balance.
Together, we build the TP DNA, without barriers and with the best results.
Throughout the difficult year of 2020, TP Portugal joined efforts to ensure the health and safety of the entire team: managing to put 99% of the employees on remote work and obtaining the COVID Clean certification in its 11 buildings at the beginning of the pandemic.
Through TP Club, we also continued to have as our main priority the development of initiatives and activities centred on employees in areas such as sports, art, dancing, music and photography, promoting the entire team’s creativity and happiness, both online and in-person, complying with all the rules imposed by the Portuguese General Directorate for Health (DGS).
Teleperformance Portugal also provides health insurance to each employee from the first day of work, free healthy food in the canteens, psychological support to all employees, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as well as initiatives and activities focused on physical and psychological well-being.
Augusto Martinez Reyes, CEO of Teleperformance Portugal recognised that this certification increases the company’s responsibility to innovate and implement new strategies that differentiate TP Portugal and increase the levels of retention, and that the “growth and sustainability depend on our ability to create an international company that embraces diversity, equality and inclusion”.
“This honour represents the positive feedback from our employees and reinforces our continuous desire to improve”, he added.
With 40 years of experience connecting brands to their customers, Teleperformance is a global leader in digital integration business services. With more than 11,000 employees and 97 nationalities, TP Portugal continues to be the largest multicultural team in the world.
