What you can expect

We are looking for a highly analytical and collaborative WFM Analyst & Operational Research Specialist to join our Workforce Management team. This role combines deep expertise in scheduling algorithms (e.g using Mosel ) with strong operational research capabilities to drive data-driven decision-making and workforce optimization

What you'll do

  • Design, implement, and optimize scheduling algorithms using languages like Mosel to meet service level and efficiency goals;
  • Apply operational research techniques such as linear programming, integer programming, simulation, and queuing theory to solve complex workforce and operational challenges;
  • Develop and maintain automated scheduling models and decision-support tools;
  • Analyze large datasets using SQL and Excel to monitor and improve generated outputs and processes;
  • Translate business problems into mathematical models and present actionable insights to leadership;
  • Continuously improve scheduling processes through innovation and automation.

What you'll need

  • Proven experience with scheduling algorithms (Mosel or similar optimization languages).
  • Strong foundation in operational research methods and mathematical modeling.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage projects across teams.
  • Experience with simulation tools (e.g., AnyLogic, Simul8) or optimization solvers (e.g., CPLEX, Gurobi).
  • Experience in a contact center or customer service environment.

As an Interpreter you will be part of a team of interaction experts that are helping people all over the world, in several areas like healthcare or business.

This role is fully remote, where you can work from the comfort of your home in Portugal. If you live outside Portugal, TP will assist with the relocation!

What you'll do

  • Render correct concepts and meanings between Ukrainian and English following complexity, clarity, tone, and style from one language into another; uphold the correct rules for grammar and syntax in both languages;
  • Provide strict renditions of the messages including every detail of the conversation;
  • Follow instructions of Customers, manage the flow of the call and avoids taking over the call;
  • Understand protocol and terminology at the customer service level in the following industries:
  • Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial, Utilities, Travel & Hospitality, and 911, Law Enforcement, Court, and General Business.

What you'll need

  • Bilingual: Ukrainian & English (C1 Levels for both languages);
  • High School Diploma (mandatory);
  • Education in languages/translation/interpretation or related fields (preferential);
  • Excellent listening, retention and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy;
  • Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication with the permission or at the request of the Customer;
  • Ability to concentrate, stay detached from the conversation, and always remain neutral and objective;
  • Reliable, autonomous and highly disciplined;
  • Confident and organized;
  • Time management skills with maximum responsibility;
  • Ability to work with performance goals.
