Teleperformance Portugal carried out a beach clean initiative within the Citizen of the Planet program.
On June 3rd we celebrated the World Environment Day earlier by inviting our TP employees and their children to save trash from the sea.
Beach clean initiative: Let’s act today!
Together, at the beach, we saved up to 3kg of micro plastic and around 400 cigarette butts that would end up in the sea, causing fauna and natural flora devastation. In fact, this would eventually end on our table.
Also, we continued this impact by saving around 480 liters of plastic, 360 liters of glass and 120 liters of paper in our sustainable spot at TP Arraial 2023.
During the entire initiative, we alerted our employees and their families about the importance of recycling and how they can do it in their homes.
The importance of recycling
The Teleperformance family continues to reinforce the major relevance of taking care of our planet by promoting tree planting initiatives, social responsibility activities and so many other volunteering and solidarity opportunities.
