  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Quality Analysts design and execute tests to understand the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications, websites, or other products. They create test plans, develop test cases, and perform various testing techniques to identify bugs, inconsistencies, or usability problems. They also verify if the product meets specified requirements and standards.
  • Defect Tracking and Documentation: When defects or issues are identified, Quality Analysts document them in detail, including steps to reproduce the problem, system configurations, and any relevant information. They remain informed about relevant regulations and standards and conduct audits or assessments to verify compliance. This includes areas such as Data Privacy, Security, Accessibility, or industry-specific regulations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Quality Analysts create reports and provide analysis of their test findings and quality assessment activities. They communicate the results, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and other team members. These reports facilitate decision-making processes, prioritizing bug fixes, and improving overall product quality.
  • Training and Mentoring: Concerning quality assurance processes, testing techniques and best practices, Quality Analysts could provide training and guidance to other team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
